The concealed carry of weapons for self-defense is now legal in all 50 states. With the increased threats of terrorism on American soil, it's time for the U.S. Government to pass legislation to allow any person who possesses a valid carry permit or concealed carry license (CCL) issued by a state to carry in any other state.
The petition calls upon the President to endorse and push for passage of federal legislation that will provide legal protection for law-abiding concealed carry permit holders who pass or have passed a CCL certification course to carry across state lines.
The Second and Fourteenth Amendments to the U.S. Constitution’s Bill of Rights supports such legislation.
Bills are currently in Congress to address this. With the President's public support, passage can occur.
