The founding fathers made it clear that the American people were not to be disarmed. With fears looming regarding the U.N. small-arms treaty, and even domestic anti-gun legislation, we the people want to make our voice heard. People in NJ such as myself have no right to self-defense, no state should force their citizens to be victims. In the campaign President Obama said he didn't want anyone "playing by a different set of rules", well I agree. Criminals are able to carry firearms with impunity, responsible law-abiding citizens should be as well. The civil rights of responsible people should not be trampled upon because of a few deviants. I ask that our rights be expanded, not stripped from us.
