Many people believe that assault weapons are to blame for the mass murders due to their ability to shoot many rounds without having to reload. This is a misconception by the ignorant because they are afraid. There are people like me that realize that a person who is willing to kill is willing to go to any means to obtain an assault rifle or is willing to kill with any means possible. Look at the slashing incident in China for example. Though the slasher did not kill, a true killer would have not given up until the deed was done. This man did this out of a publicity stunt and to gain fame. Many people believe that automatic weapons should be banned, yet they do not know that it is illegal to buy them. Remember, if you ban assault rifles, you are stopping nothing.
