That seeks to amend title 18, United States Code, to provide a national standard in accordance with which nonresidents of a State may carry concealed firearms in the other states.
The overwhelming majority of individuals who exercise the right to carry firearms in their own States and other States have strenuously opposed the involvement of the federal government in interfering with states rights to determine for themselves laws regarding firearms.
It is rank hypocrisy for them to seek to impose their own ideas of what concealed carry laws should exist in other communities after so long having proclaimed that communities and states should have the right to self-determination.
