HR3813 will drastically change the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS). The changes proposed are unfair to federal workers, and will not save the taxpayers money, but increase the cost by the elimination of the FERS supplement, thus causing thousands of federal employees to postpone their retirement until they reach age 62.
