On November 29th 2011, the Senate passed a bill called the National Defense Authorization Act, which would allow the military to hold indefinitely - and without trial- anyone in the United States whom they suspect of terrorism. This would grant the US military the right to imprison any US citizen indefinitely and without trial.
The National Defense Authorization Act is in clear violation of our civil rights and liberties, and must not be allowed to pass.
