Piers Morgan is absolutely right about banning assault weapons in U.S. We have to protect our children. They have every right to be safe at school. There is no excuse for deadly mass shooting and violence caused by weapons equipped with magazines filled with hundreds of ammunition rounds. They have nothing, completely nothing to do with the 2nd Amendment or right to self-defense. On the contrary such weapons lead to taking freedom away from citizens.
All citizens have the right to be safe in public areas.
The 2nd Amendment is used as a legal tool by NRA and similar organizations because they are backed by gun industry, which makes a lot of money on selling weapons.
Life and safety of us, especially life of little children is much more important than making money on guns.
