Please do not prey on the recent tragedy in CT to try to push your anti-gun laws on the American citizens. Having just shy of 200,000 signatures does not represent the U.S. as a whole. This is an issue that should be voted on by the American people.
Mr. Obama and his family are protected by guns (secret service) 24/7. We have the right to protect our family just as much as the Obama's. Had the principal or a teacher had a gun, then they would have been able to protect themselves and the students.
Banning guns is not going to stop gun violence. The people that use them to harm others will still find means to get them and use them to harm others. All this will do is lead to another Revolution or Civil War.
There are other ways to stop gun violence without punishing the rest of us!
