In response to the public notice posted by the FCC in April:
"We now seek comment on whether the full Commission should make changes to its current broadcast indecency policies or maintain them as they are." (http://transition.fcc.gov/Daily_Releases/Daily_Business/2013/db0401/DA-1...)
Our comment in firm response is to MAINTAIN the current indecency policies, and we urge the Obama administration to agree.
Openly permitting transmission of this content into homes will hurt families and more quickly decay marriages, relationships, and effectively, American society. Homes should be a place where children and family can feel safe from such profanities.
Changing the policy to permit and promote this untoward content is for the government to endorse its use, and would be appalling.
