We are extremely concerned with and opposed to Sen. Feinstein's assault weapons bill that will shortly be introduced.
Aside from banning firearms that many consider too dangerous for the general public, this bill would apply to nearly every rifle and pistol currently owned by Americans for lawful purposes.
In particular, we are deeply disturbed by the intent to impose a $200 tax for registration with the federal government, and the confiscation upon the owner's death.
Sen. Feinstein's bill goes too far.
