This petition is for those in the State of Arkansas who oppose the decision to seceed from the United States. We do not feel that the citizens of our state should be forced into secession as a whole when there is a vast majority of Arkansans who oppose. We petition for the right to hold a formal election on the matter of secession to determine our standing in this discussion.
