We the People of the United States of America strongly oppose any U.S. military intervention in the Syrian civil war. Although the violence in Syria is tragic, it does not threaten U.S. national security.
President Obama is obligated to defend the United States, and the American people, from direct threats to our security. Launching military operations against Syria that do not—and cannot—serve that purpose, would be reckless and counterproductive.
