It is well known by current and recent members of the United States Army the importance of the reflective belt. Not only is it a critical tool during the limited light PT hours, but also during any operations occurring in limited lighting situations. For those who have served in Kandahar, they know that a reflective belt was mandatory to carry just as their weapon was.
In 2014, we the undersigned, would like to see the United States Military Academy pay a well deserved (though humorous) tribute to the reflective belt and its role in today's Army.
This tribute should be through a Presidential Order that the USMA football team wear a specially designed uniform, dedicated to the reflective belt, during the 2014 Army-Navy football game
