Mr. President,
I know that you have stated that you are demanding for yet another increase to the federal debt ceiling, and that you are not willing to accept any negotiations in accordance with this increase.
I implore of you to reconsider your stance and to demmand that with this increase in the debt ceiling, that so many Americans are against, that there be an ammendment that requires that the federal budget be balanced! Along with being balanced, that every year that their is still a federal debt, a minimum of 2% of that budget must go towards reducing the federal debt, on top of the payments that are already required on that debt. In the process of balancing the budget, taxes must not be raised to balance, spending must be cut to match the revenue.
Stop saddling us with debt!
