People of color are fed up with police departments across the nation and our anger is at a boiling point. The mistreatment, profiling, abuse and use of deadly force by the police against people of color has been increasing across the nation. The polices' continued lawless demonstrates a lack of respect, training, understanding and a double standard in how conflicts are approached and resolved with people of color versus their white counterparts. People of color are presumed guilty and therefore treated as less than human, with these presumptions used to justify the behavior of police. Even the presence of recording devices have not stopped the behavior, but instead caused states to pass laws to prevent recordings. Please help or we have no choice but to regard your silence as acceptance.
