Order the Attorney General to reclassify Marijuana from a Schedule I to a Schedule II Controlled Substance

Created by J.N. on November 01, 2011

The undersigned demand that Marijuana be reclassified from a Sch. I to a Sch. II controlled substance.. Under Title 21, Section 811 the Attorney General has the authority to reclassify a substance based upon the both on the criteria listed in subsection (c) related to the potential for abuse, and the criteria listed in Section 812, subsection (b) paragraph (1) and (2) in regards to its accepted medical use. In Dec 2010, my sister, K.L.N was diagnosed with Stage IV Colo-rectal cancer. Through the use of marijuana, she was able to maintain a healthy enough body weight to win her battle. The medical community, as well as thousands of Americans with a similar story overwhelmingly accept this medical use. It is unconscionable to deny a person this chance in a fight for their life.
