Those who serve our nation make sacrifices everyday. On top of the emotional, and physical sacrifices troops make...the White House is now saying our troops must make financial sacrifices, such as holding of pay and benefits reduction.
As the Commander-in-chief it is President Obama's duty to ensure the well being of our troops. Ordering that pay and benefits to our troops be cut would inflict a burden on countless already cash-strapped troops. This is a burden that some troops may not be able to overcome.
The purpose of this petition is to call attention to this issue, and ask that President Obama sees to it that those who serve will NOT face this potentially crippling financial situation.
