Order the Commerce Dept and IRS to reclassify corporations based on INCOME - to make "small business" just that.

Created by S.E. on February 02, 2013

Politicians are always using the term "small business" when discussing economic policy. We hear this term, and yet most Americans don't realize that many large corporations often hide behind this cloaked definition - usually based on the number of owners - and take government contracts and other benefits away from true "small businesses".

The term "small business" should refer SOLELY to those family-owned businesses which earn less than $1m per year and do not dominate their field.

Large corporations should be referred to as "large corporations" or "large conglomerate corporations" or "large multinational corporations" and not abuse a term which most American assume is reserved for the local hardware store, grocery store, plumber, etc.

Put the "small business" back in small business.
