On December 15, 1791, the citizens of the United States of America had been given the rights to bear arms and defend themselves against any kind of threat to themselves. This is the 2nd Amendment to the United States Constitution.
For the past 10-15 years, the Democratic Party has tried their hardest to have a strong grip on gun control. Considering the attacks on 9/11, and God only knows what else could possibly be thrown at us in the times to come, how can the Democrats try to control something that is a constitutional right?
Oliver Wendell Holmes once said, "The Constitution of the United States is what the Supreme Court says it is. No more, no less." The Supreme Court rejects any notion of gun control, and the Democrats might as well drop it, along with anyone else who should rise up.
