Every night, women are being sexually assaulted and raped by employees at a for-profit immigrant detention facility in Karnes County, Texas.
For a very long time, the Department of Homeland Security has received a flood of complaints about these abuses.
However, because these women are undocumented, they're being ignored by the system. Many of these people fled their homes to escape sexual violence and crimes that they are now experiencing in a facility they cannot escape.
We can't let them be ignored anymore.
