Vringo, Inc.(NASDAQ;VRNG) a patent assertion entity holding key 3G-4G wireless patents has relentlessly pursued Smartphone manufacturer ZTE of China. ZTE(owned by Chinese Govt), has been found by multiple European courts to have infringed on wireless patents owned by US owned Vringo, Inc. In order to avoid payment to Vringo, ZTE has engaged in a campaign to manipulate the share price of Vringo, in a direct effort to eliminate the company's ability to seek financing in U.S. equity markets.
