Order the DOJ to Approve the Use of Mobile Phones by Law Enforcement in the Line of Duty - Save Tax Payers Billions

Created by M.D. on March 02, 2015

Most people agree that police body worn cameras are inevitable and beneficial to the community as well as law enforcement. How we go about it is the question now. Ultimately taxpayers will be footing the bill as this is a public safety issue budgeted in every city, county and state.

There is new mobile technology that will not only save taxpayers billions of dollars over the years, these new apps will also enable an officer to be much more efficient on the job while insulating her from subpoenas.

Law enforcement agencies are famously slow adapters when it comes to change. Privacy concerns and bureaucratic bottlenecks are the main reasons. We the people should have some say so in these matters.

DOJ: Approve the use of mobile phones and clear the way to much smarter use of public funds.
