Governors have ordered flags to be flown at half-mast for actors as recently as last week. The governor in Arizona has ordered the flags at half-mast, but those of us in other states would like to display respect to these firefighters by lowering our flags.
This is the largest group of firefighters to be killed since the World Trade Center attack on 9/11/01. It is an American tragedy to see our heroes killed, especially in such a large number.
