Three professors of psychiatry, including one from the Harvard Medical School, are so concerned about the mental health of President-elect Donald Trump that they wrote to President Obama on Dec. 17 urging him to order an impartial 'full medical and neuropsychiatric evaluation' before he assumes office on January 20, 2017.
The professors said that although they could not ethically speculate on a diagnosis for Trump, but considering his 'grandiosity, impulsivity and hypersensitivity to criticism', they concluded that he was not fit to assume the office of President of the United States.
The Twenty-fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution establishes succession procedures if the president is unable to fulfill his or her duties.
