Our military are the guardians of freedom and right now in Nigeria 276 young girls are being held captive by a terrorist organization which has threatened to sell them as slaves. The government of Nigeria is not up to the task of undertaking a rescue operation. President Obama should make all assets and especially special forces, logistics, and air support available to the Nigerian government's immediate disposal in order to free the girls. I can think of no better mission or reason to for our brave men and women to go into harms way than to protect children against violence.
