In order to increase productivity of the Congress, limit total years in office for both houses to 12 years.

Amidst mounting bipartisan voter concern with complaceny among "career politicians," this petition requests an Act of Congress limiting the total number of years served by any one individual in any one level of the Legislative branch to 12, totalling 24 years for any one individual serving in both houses. Representatives and Senators will be more apt to consider their constituents and legislate, rather than stall, whilst understanding that they have a requisite amount of time to enact their agendas.
