Bloomfield police department has developed a reputation for police misconduct and botched investigations into complaints against the department. This corruption seems to extend throughout the department from the Chief of Police, Internal affairs and possibly even the states attorneys office. In light of recent event with one Mr. Marcus Jeter, a Justice Department investigation is in order to determine how many other innocent people are in jail as a result of these three officers corrupt morals and mis-handling of cases by both the state prosecutors office and the police department chain of command.
