On July 16, 2015, a lone gunman opened fire on two military installations in Chattanooga, Tennessee, killing four Marines immediately. Two other service members and a police officer were wounded, with one of the service members, a U.S. Navy Sailor, dying from his injuries two days later, resulting in a total of five dead from this tragic event.
