Members of Congress repeatedly cause financial harm to ordinary Americans with their refusal to perform their job, governing the country and managing the nation's budget.
Those members of Congress see no harm to themselves whatsoever, no matter what shenanigans they engage in.
Order that members of Congress shall be the LAST federal workers paid, so that they do see a personal effect from the harm they cause.
That way, if their incompetence results in other federal workers going without pay, members of Congress will also go without pay.
After all, the rest of us actually have to do our jobs in order to get paid, don't we?
And no back pay either, that's cheating.
