Order Piketon Atomic Energy Plant refunded/refurbished to produce much needed plutonium-238

Created by D.F. on September 30, 2015

No more plutonium-238 means not exploring perhaps 99 percent of the solar system. In effect, much of NASA’s $1.5 billion-a-year (and shrinking) planetary science program is running out of time. NASA needs funding and plutonium-238 for a stepped-up space program to explore our solar system, and Appalachia needs jobs very badly. Push for funds to do both by reestablishing production and relocating resources at the Piketon, Ohio Atomic Energy facility.
