After five years of testing, reports of nearly 600 animals dead and more than 3,600 sickened after eating pet treats made in China, why are they still available in the US? The Chinese companies making these treats will not allow inspectors to go into the plants to find out how the dried meats are being processed. If the treats coming from China are sickening and killing our pets, how safe can human food being imported from China be?
Please order an immediate recall of the pet treats in question, and order an immediate halt to any food imports from China pending a thorough investigation of the products from the live animal (ducks, chickens etc) to the receipt of the dried product in the processing plants in the US to understand why so many animals are dying after eating them.
