Order the Secretary of HHS, Kathleen Sebelius, to revise adult organ donor recipient regs to include those under age 12.

Created by G.B. on June 05, 2013

Despite promises by the administration, and the Department of Health and Human Services, it is quite clear that the so-called "Death Panels" of Obamacare are not quite off the mark.
DHHS Secretary Sebelius has now refused 10 year old Sarah Murnaghan the adult lung transplant that she requires to live due to her end-stage cystic fibrosis, despite Doctor confirmation that her body could handle an adult-sized lung. Sarah is not alone in this situation, according to Secretary Sebelius; there are at least three children in the state of Pennsylvania suffering from similar conditions who require transplants.
The current policy allows discrimination against children who need transplants to live because of their age. The policy regulation in this situation should be waived to allow the transplant.
