Order the Treasury Dep't. to begin the process of permanently transitioning from the one dollar bill to the dollar coin

Printing paper dollar bills is a waste of taxpayer dollars. Dollar coins have the resilience to remain in circulation far longer than paper bills, saving printing costs, taxpayer dollars, and natural resources. Dollar coins will be widely used and accepted by the American people one the paper bill is dropped from printing and circulation. Countries all over the world have stopped printing paper monies in their equivalent denominations for these same reasons. It is time for the U.S. Government and Treasury Dep't. to do the right thing and discontinue this wasteful note.
