I have recently learned about "Pink Slime". It is a very low grade meat product (mostly the scraps and connective tissues) that is treated with ammonia hydroxide to kill bacteria. The USDA is planning on buying 7 million tons of this junk and feeding some of it to our kids in the school lunch program.
I ask the President to look into the health benefits of this "Pink Slime" and doing all he can to stop it ending up in our school lunches. Even Burger King, Taco Bell, and McDonald's have agreed to not use this slime.
Putting this into our food seems to go against everything the First Lady has been saying about eating healthy. Please help our school kids!
