Recently, with the #OccupyWallSt campaign, there has been some actions done by law enforcement that have brought light of the situation on where the status of said law enforcement stands. It used to be that the police and other law enforcement agencies were like how referees are in basketball: Involved to a point where you can feel their presence, but not so invasive as to where they feel overbearing. Over the course of various events, such as police brutality shown in Seattle toward various Hispanic races, I believe that this brutality and abuse can be stopped with stricter background checks on police and law enforcement officials, combined with stricter policy on what law enforcement can and cannot do, I think that we can greatly diminish this problem, or eliminate it completely. Thanks.
