In April 2011, the attached letter proposed a formal debate between the competing perspectives regarding the fiscal and economic challenges that we face as a nation.

In reality, this debate took place in a convoluted and haphazard form as part of the 2012 political campaigns, not the least being the Presidential contest... with the result being the stuporous stalemate in which we find ourselves deadlocked as a nation today.
These matters are too important to be left to a deliberative process that is driven by real-time events in the real world while being locked in a rigid process that has a fixed biennial cycle.
It is not too late!
