Organize a union protecting rights of call center workers, teachers from underemployment, forced labor, homelessness.

Created by N.S. on February 10, 2015

In Los Angeles, California, I see scores of homeless people camped out around bus stations, under freeways or sleeping in abandoned buildings. Also, many low-income people search garbage bins for food or empty containers to recycle each day for survival. These people are victims of a poor economy and have systematically been marginalized. Without a steady income, under-employed professionals may fall victim to prostitution, slave labor, human trafficking or homelessness.
