I attended the Moonshot 2020 Summit at the University of Illinois, Chicago (UIC), and I was the only one there on behalf of Children. I went with the hopes of learning more about the "Moonshot 2020 Pediatric Cancer Consortium", but it was not addressed.
I am proposing that the government organize another summit, to coincide with Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, in September, known as, "Moonshot 2020 Pediatric Cancer Consortium Summit". I hope this idea can be presented directly to Vice President Joe Biden, and I further hope the ten founding members could 'spearhead' the project. I am certain several hundred more would cooperate, as they did for Moonshot 2020 Summit, on June 29th, across the country. I want "Moonshot 2020" to succeed, and vow to help with the cause in any way I can.
