Our Law Enforcement Officers should be helped to make more of an effort to use less lethal means to combat criminals. Innocent people are killed every year through the use of guns. Some people just do not get along with or trust Law Enforcement. Other technologies exist to stop aggressive criminals. When Law Enforcement Officer takes a life of another, the after effects are not fully understood until its to late. Both the Officer and criminal, both human beings are effected in negatively.
Mr. President, please help, help our Law Enforcement Officers find alternatives to using guns. Ultimately guns will always exist for Law Enforcement, but lets find other solutions to combating criminals, a different first line of defense.There are other less lethal means to subdue criminals.
