Guns are made to kill. Having more police, more guns, will not make our schools safe. It will only allow for more killing. How many have heard "An Eye for an Eye will make the whole blind". Gun shot for a Gun shot will eliminate mankind. It is proven that the guns give a false sense of security. The killer Lanza mother's own gun was used to kill her.
As a country, we have been through this too many times in the recent years. Sandy Hook Elementary School, a shopping mall in Oregon, or a temple in Wisconsin, or a movie theater in Aurora, or a street corner in Chicago -These are our neighborhoods. As we mourn all victims of gun violence deserve a meaningful discussion about our gun laws - and how they can be reformed and better enforced to prevent gun violence and death in America, NOW.
