We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

Our US Government should not supply people & money to ND Gov. Dalrymple's overuse of police in DAPL protest.

Created by D.T. on September 13, 2016

We the people believe that Govenor Jack Dalrymple should be held accountable for his actions and spending habits in his mishandling of the over policing in the matter of Dakota Access Pipeline protection.
It is clear that has over heightened the situation by calling on excessive police spending. Many officers are simply not needed in certain task such as in the manning of the "blockade" that closes off the highway to the Standing Rock reservation.
The majority of the "protectors" (protesters) are at peace with excessive forces that have been deployed.
These cost could have been avoided but we feel that the Governor had utilized such over spending measures as he knew he would ask for the cost to be covered by the federal government instead of his state government.
