Outgoing Congress and Senate members should pay for their own benefits when voted out of office. No exceptions.

At this time whenever a Senator, Congressman or Congresswoman is voted or recalled out of their office they are still able to collect and be eligible for all benefits they had when office. This includes the best health care, not paying social security, being exempt from many laws that a private citizen is expected to follow as well as collecting more benefits from each government position they hold. In contrast, when a private citizen is fired or resigns from their job, no matter how long they have held their position they are no longer insured, must contnue to pay into social security, and privately pay for health insurance. In essence, I and I hope many other American citizens, would like to see the aforementioned individuals become private citizens after they leave office.
