Affirmative Action prevents some of our nation's best students from being accepted into top colleges because colleges have to fill their diversity requirements. Racism against white students doesn't make up for the racism against minorities in the past. Many students who are let into college because of affirmative action fail out and then are stuck with lots of debt which sets them back more than if they didn't go. Students should be selected for college based on their success at school, not their racial background. Everyone in this nation has the same general academic standards they must pass to graduate high school, and race shouldn't be a deciding factor in education.
