Homework is the root of all evil. In countries like Finland, there is no homework. High school graduation rate in Finland is at 93 percent, which is fantastic, especially when you compare it to 75 percent in United States of America. Finland also has the highest rate in Europe of students going to college (two of three). And Finnish schoolchildren far outperform students in other countries, especially our own. If we outlaw homework, we might be just one step closer to better test scores, higher graduation rates, higher college rates, and a better world. It's one small step for man, one giant leap for all of mankind.
