Outlaw and ban all firearms except for Law Enforcement and Military. Anyone found with an illegal gun would be arrested

We need to understand that we have almost 350 million people in our country. Our mental health care hospitals lost their funding during the Reagan administration and released their patients into the general population. Medicare, Medicaid and most health care insurers don't provide mental health care services. We have a large population of mentally unstable citizens that can access heavy weapons. We must outlaw all guns except for those used by Law Enforcement and the military. It should be a serious crime to own a gun, carry a gun or be seen with a gun. In a few years, we will be safer, access to guns will be almost impossible except for law enforcement and military. The possession and knowledge of an illegal gun should be criminal behavior, a threat to the safety of our citizens
