Legislation should not be anonymous!!!
Language, clauses, phrases, and regulations are entering legislation without a single member of Congress claiming them as their own. Bills come out of committee with elements that congress does not read, nor know who placed such elements in a bill. This petition is asking the administration to support a law requiring that all language in a bill be claimed by at least one member of congress. No longer should a member of congress submit to lobbyist and special interest pressure without claiming responsibility for what they place in legislation.
We the people have a right to know "WHO IS WRITING OUR LAWS!!!"
