Outlaw cigarettes. Almost a half a million people die every year as a result of tobacco use.

Created by J.L. on January 13, 2013

The government is talking about gun reform, yet almost half a million people die every year from cigarettes. Death by gun violence is approx 31,000 per year. If any American were to intentionally put the ingredients that are in cigarettes in someone's food, we would be arrested for attempted murder due to poisoning. Why isn't the tobacco industry responsible for the poisoning deaths of billions of Americans?
