Outlaw credit history checks performed by corporations to screen potential employees. We believe this is discrimination.

You may be a victim of discrimination. If you or someone you know has been refused employment based on your credit rating, you should sign this petition without delay. Corporations have a new weapon to discriminate against people they don't want to hire; credit history. It is estimated today that nearly 40-50% of mid-sized and large corporations discriminate against people with poor credit. Sadly, these are the people that need jobs the MOST. If you cannot get a decent job because of your poor credit, how can you repair your poor credit? These policies hurt Americans and they hurt the American economy. Please stop this despicable, selfish practice.
