Any and All donations or promises of, monetary or otherwise, to or from persons running for any elected office is to be unlawful. Equal media time and space must be attempted for candidates as they face-off in a "tournament" where placement is determined by random draw. Publicly aired debates determine who moves to the next round. Votes are cast by Internet or phone until the final round is determined by election.
It would be illegal to offer or accept ANY gift, donation, or promise of such. Doing so would be an act of treason.
