Outlaw gender pricing, #pinktax! Let's create legislation to eliminate unfair pricing of similar goods based upon gender

Created by Z.P. on March 18, 2016

Women, on average, are charged 7% more on products such as shampoo and razors, according to the New York Department of Consumer Affairs. Services alone, like dry cleaning, can cost women on average an extra $1,351 a year. This statistic does not include the thousands of dollars women are being unfairly charged for similar products. We believe this price discrepancy is unfair, and legislation must be created to end the stipulation of sexism in America. We implore the Obama Administration to address this issue on a national scale and to begin a movement towards equality for all.
